The solution to a repetitive life drawing model?

If you saw my post on Tuesday, you read my complaints about the model who kept repeating the same position. The set up was pretty dull, and he’d done it a couple of times already. When it came time for the extended pose (approx. 50 min.) I feared he was going to do it again, and I wasn’t the only one worried about it. Another regular of the class, got up, and moved to the other side of the room; hoping to switch up her view. For the last pose, he went right back into his seated position (see my previous post). He did change one thing about it… he turned toward the side of the room the girl had moved to, essentially giving her the same image she had already been drawing most of the evening! I wasn’t going to leave an hour early, so I thought “screw it”! I’ll draw… Her drawing him! Was way more interesting.
