This was the last pose of the night, a 50 min, with no break. If you read the first post in this series, I mentioned how this model really knows how to run a session, so she saved this pose for last. It’s easier for her to hold, but makes sense given the length of time she was in it. I’d rather end with this, knowing she’s going to hold it well, than having to constantly alter my image because the shadows have changed along with her pose.

I usually don’t spend more than 30 min. on a pose, but I labored over the face from the heavy shadows. I shifted to another position, and tried to get as much of this foreshortened angle as possible before running out of time. Amazing how different the pose feels from this angle.
