This past Baltimore Con, I was invited to pitch in on the Mike Wieringo tribute yearbook. When I think of him, as a lot of people, I think of Tellos. The thing is, his name is eternally tied to the late Jeremy Dale in my mind, because Jeremy was the one to give me a full appreciation of Mike’s work. He was a huge fan of ‘Ringo, and Skyward, and Jeremy’s style, are heavily influenced by Mike’s work.
When asked to contribute an image, I couldn’t help but toss in a bit of Skyward into the mix by adding in “Kirby” into the background.
