Bash as in the Bash Street Kids– not just poor grammar on my part! Anyway, the legendary David Sutherland needed a break, so I’m getting to fill in for a few weeks. They asked me to try and match his style, and although NO ONE can be another David Sutherland, I did my best to make it a seamless switch.
One thing I needed to get right was his unique approach to sound effects, something you can see I didn’t do in these pencils. If you know the strip, you’ll immediately see what’s off.
