As I mentioned on Monday, there was a missing clown design when I started to draw the joke page for this week’s issue. I had a place holder for the part, but drew him as a classic American Bozo. I went with Willard Scott, they went with Billy Barty! I had to adjust my layout but I didn’t want a total redraw. Like Hollywood does with short leading men, I gave him a lift.
