Another of the pirate themed models, but below you can really see how the scanner settings impact the final. These pirate images have pushed me into a more developed range of gradations in my rendering. In this top scan a lot of it is lost.
But in this rescan, you get to see more of what’s going on in the original. Notice the sleeve of her pistol hand, her face, and how her hair is more silky than straw like.
