Another panel I enjoyed this week on the Beano Boss was this running of the gauntlet. We didn’t have fancy, mass produced Capt America shields when I was a kid, so you had to improvise. I had a trash can lid I painted to look like Cap’s shield (still have it), but a family friend took the handle off the top, and put it on the inside, so I could hold it like Cap did. It also sailed pretty well, if you threw it.
Yeah, my inner geek is showing.
