Back to the possibility of doing Monster High, one reason I’d love to be on the book, is that I’m a big “slice of life” manga fan. Stuff like “Insomniacs after school” really appeal to me. I know MH is a bit more dramatic than that, but I still think the challenge would be fun. I’ve been doing sketches to encourage the IDW team, and here’s one with Drak n Frankie out shopping.
I really tried to focus on the fashion and the hair. I know the clothes are predesigned, but how they’re rendered has a lot to do with it; plus I added some purses that I though fit the characters.
