The debate over the drill sergeant’s use of vocabulary aside, the short “Forward March Hare” (1952) is another class in design from Chuck Jones. I rarely see this one, and I was awed by the throw away characters in it. I love that the recruits are a random selection of body types, with one looking like he came out of “Wackiki Wabbit“; is that Tedd Pierce? Anyway, I’ll come back later to shots of Bugs from this.
