All the images this week were done on the same day within an hour or so. I’ve presented them in the order they were drawn, to show the progress from what I was aiming for to where I managed to get. This one is the closest to where I’d like my “manga” images to be, but I’m still not satisfied with the head structure. Although every book and artist claims things are on a 50 divide breakdown (half head, then half that for the nose, then half again for the mouth), or that the eyes are one length apart; the images still don’t look right. Those are starting points I know, but it would help to hear what the nuances beyond that are? That’s the part I’m working out for myself. Oh well.
