I try to “echo” details from previous strips, such as places the characters frequent. This kitchen comes up fairly often in Rubi, but if you follow my Beano work, you may notice it has a strong resemblance to Tricky’s kitchen! HA! I’m consistent, but lazy.
Also, if you don’t already know, Danny Pearson is the guy who writes all the Rubi strips I’ve been drawing. When you see me “@” his name in these posts, that’s why. He’s not just some random dude I’m bombing Rubi strips at!
