Not every shot you’re asked to do is a thrilling, action scene. This one was simply described as “Then replace the pump on the sink“. The adventure, the mystery… the pretty dull, but still important. It has to be done, but you try to make it interesting to look at no matter what. 
Then again, the next shot could be a challenge. How do you show something akin to alien slime being all over someone’s hands? Goo-goo-goo! It’s never gonna wash off, gross.
