More from issue 292, and in this sequence, Dr. Mindbender is supposed to obtain some DNA from the secretly discovered burial site of Genghis Khan. I spent way too much time trying to find references for this, and tried to make it look like a plausible situation. One thing I decided to do was to include a massive “elevator” so of course I pulled inspiration from one of the masters of tech art. The shout out is in there as an Easter egg, but no one’s mentioned it to me, and I’ve given them a few years to see it. Come on, people!
