Oh there’ll be more next month, probably Monday as a matter of fact. For now, here are a couple of drawings to end the month with. These are both 20 minute sketches. Andrew Loomis talks about what an artist can do with the interpretation of a photo, mainly in what details they keep or leave out. It’s funny because I never considered tattoos as an issue, but sometimes they play tricks on the eyes when it comes to subtle shadows. In keeping with Loomis’ idea, I generally drop tattoos from my life drawings. Partly to see if I can work around them, but mostly they take too much time to render. My point… this lady has a lot of tattoos you’re not getting to see. Sorry— deal with it.
