Who cares? Stay indoors and read a Beano!
I often just enjoy a panel for a single pose that comes out the way I wanted, or even stuff usually overlooked, like a background. The strip in this week’s Beano is like that.
I was pleased with how JJ was sitting on the floor, because it felt natural to me. I could be wrong, but don’t @ me to tell me that. It’s annoying, and spoils my corn flakes.
I also liked the following panel because it has two Easter Eggs. One is the teacher from Tricky , plus it is a slight tribute the opening scene of the Cat in the Hat cartoon adaptation that I always enjoyed as a kid.
And no, those aren’t french fries on the plate… they’re butter shortbreads.
