After my initial sketches, I was told that the Godzilla book was actually intended for little kids, so not to waste my initial foot-in-the-door, I did additional sketches that were more of a kid friendly Godzilla. To me that means either “puppy dog” Godzilla (as he was in the first film I ever saw G vs Megalon), or (as seen here) the classic HB cartoon.
