After I figured out how I wanted to draw Godzilla, I figured I should give them a feel for how the stylized look would work on other kaiju. Since I had been doing so many Mothras already, it seemed the logical choice. As I said about Godzilla’s look in a previous post, instead of going all Ralph Steadman-splattered ink as most artists seem to do, I decided to have Mothra’s markings become graphic and streamlined.
