The new BATs in Joe are a challenge, as they show no emotion; kind of like the Terminators. When they’re spitting fire, they at least look like they’re screaming. If they aren’t, they look like they’re making grocery lists in their heads, which makes adding tension difficult. However, to give them false emotions, also doesn’t feel right for the story. Still, I try to make things interesting.
