In the drawing sessions I usually do longer poses on this craft paper, using it as a mid tone. It’s nothing new, people have done it for hundreds of years, but it’s a nice look. Last session I tried a blue pencil lead for my under drawing, like I’ve been using in my comic work, and the Copic marker ink blurred the line, giving the them a softer edge. I liked the look, so I thought I’d try it with the other colored leads I have. The one I use most often, behind the blues, is a purple. I liked the look, but the Copic inks didn’t blur the purple line as much.
