I’m not a regular on Beano anymore, but I get the occasional request. This is from an upcoming joke page about golf, set up as a putt-putt course. Although there was a request for traditional stuff like a windmill, I had the freedom to pick most of the themes; I had to leave room for the jokes. That forces a cramped composition, but I still tried to have fun with the selection. You can see I threw in a few references to cartoons I liked, but I’m not sure most of the readers will get them. I just assume the parents will, so it’s more of a nod to them.
