I got to do a joke page, and as usual I tried to give the designers as many options as possible. They referenced the Bafta award, but using the Bash Street Kids faces as the award head sculpture. I didn’t know if they wanted to make them shiny metal, or keep the normal color schemes; so I provided versions of both.
Since the BSKs were telling jokes to each other, I shaped the plaques on the front of the award like word balloons. The box at the bottom is where the reader can write in the category for each award, for example “Best Joke of the Year”.
