Poses can get repetitive, especially if you’re in a hurry. You fall back on previous ones from before, then it starts to get stale. Some ask why figure drawing is important– that’s why. Everyone does the same activity differently, be it their natural inclination, or situational. A girl in a skirt won’t (usually) sit like a girl in pants, for obvious reasons. In a comic, you have to be conscious of the why, and then figure out the how.
