Living in DC, it’s funny to pass buildings you grew up seeing on TV; especially those you have strong associations with. The Russell building was used for the exterior of where Oscar Goldman was supposed to have an office; so of course I had to drop him in there. The woman on this page I thought was going to be a one off, so I based it on a friend; but she ended up being a regular. The man was loosely based on John Barrowman- who luckily dressed for the scene. 
Again, I don’t know why they never use my suggested dialogue?
