I didn’t know how many classic shorts have fallen into the public domain, and I’m surprised how much of their catalogs the big studios allowed to lapse. One shock was the classic Wackiki Wabbit (1943). Although it’s not the classic look for Bugs Bunny, he is in full form on a comedic level. I always loved this one for the wildly graphic backgrounds. The two guys being based on the classic WB writers was always a fun tidbit. I’ll probably revisit this one later.
